Description

We look at all three of these from the shop windows in Manitou Springs, so we painted them onto one chair. The red rock sits up front, the Peak takes the horizon, and the Incline climbs the middle of the mural like the questionable life choice it is. If you have hiked all of it, you have earned the right to sit down.

  • Hand painted mural in high quality exterior oil paint, colorful and weatherproof. The red rock stays red.
  • Built in Colorado from four to five pairs of retired skis on a sturdy Douglas Fir base.
  • Measures 45 inches tall by 36 inches deep by 32 inches wide, comfortable for people from 3 feet to 6 feet 10.
  • Includes a custom ski binding cup holder, big enough for a stein. Coffee also allowed.
  • 400 lb weight capacity, so nobody has to sit down gingerly.
  • 3 year hassle free warranty, and most chairs ship free to the lower 48.
  • Can be made into a rocker for $75 more using repurposed oak wine barrel slats, which is a nicer way to gain elevation than the Incline.

This one goes home with people who have a history with this stretch of the Front Range. Locals buy it for the deck, and people who moved away buy it because it puts the view they miss on their patio in Ohio. If you want a different set of landmarks, a different season, or your own trail on the mural, we paint those too.
