The pieces people actually order
We have built a lot of unusual things over nearly twenty years. A ski throne. A gondola cabin used as a DJ booth. A chair made from a set of clubs somebody had carried for thirty years. But a handful of designs get ordered again and again, and after a while you stop arguing with the data. This is that handful.
Nothing here is on this page because we like it. These are the designs that get bought most often, which usually means they solved a problem well: the right size, the right price, or the right thing to give somebody who is difficult to buy for. If you are new to Colorado Ski Chairs and do not know where to start, start here.

Matched sets
Sets of two and four outsell singles. The mural gets painted across the whole set as one design, not repeated.

The chairlift bench
The single most recognizable thing we build, and the one people photograph before they sit on it.

The gift that always works
Under two hundred dollars, ships fast, and nobody already owns one.
What keeps selling, and why
Alpine chairs, singly and in sets
The Alpine is the shape everything else grew out of. The Tall Alpine Compact Chair suits smaller decks, the Tall Alpine Hybrid with a sunset bear mural is the one people photograph, and matched sets like the Set of 2 and the Set of 4 Customizable Premium Ski Chairs account for a large share of what leaves the shop. Buying a set is also the cheaper way in per chair.
The replica chairlift bench
The Black Powder Coated 3-person Replica Chairlift Bench is the statement piece. It is a handcrafted replica rather than a lift pulled off a mountain, welded here and powder coated to your color. If you specifically want a genuine retired lift from a named resort, those live in Ski Lifts and there are usually only one or two of each.
Benches and tables
The Double Snowboard Colorado Moose Mural Bench and the Customizable Single Snowboard Coffee Table both sell steadily, largely because they do two jobs. The coffee table takes weight, so most people use it as a boot bench through the winter.
Branded pieces
The Branded Alpine Ski Chair is here because businesses order them in numbers. The chair is painted in your brand color and the logo goes on as a decal, which holds the exact shape of your mark far better than a brush can. Aluminum and plastic appliques are also available, on the front or the back. They turn up in lobbies, breweries, resorts and trade show booths. Each option prices differently, so call 303.775.7273 and tell us what you need.
Gifts that keep working
The 2-Boot ShotzSkis and the Ski Pole Plunger sell in volumes that surprise us every year. Both are under two hundred dollars, both ship quickly, and neither is something the recipient already owns.
Frequently asked questions
Is this page just your most expensive products?
No. It ranges from a sixty five dollar ski pole plunger to a three thousand dollar chairlift bench. It reflects what gets ordered most, not what carries the biggest margin.
If it is a best seller, is it in stock?
Not necessarily. Nearly everything is made to order over two to four weeks. If you need something quickly, check Ready to Ship, which is everything already built and waiting.
Can I still choose colors on a best seller?
Yes. Almost all of these are customizable: ski colors and brands, stain color, rocker or standing base, and hand painted murals. Popular does not mean fixed.
Which is the best first piece to buy?
For most people a single Alpine chair or a matched pair. For a business, a branded chair. For a gift under two hundred dollars, the ShotzSkis. If you are furnishing a whole space, call us rather than adding things one at a time.
Are these the same as the Shopify site?
This is coloradoskichairs.com, our full custom workshop range. Orders here are handled directly by our Colorado shop.
How long does an order take?
Typically two to four weeks for made to order pieces. Local delivery covers Colorado Springs, Denver, Breckenridge, Vail, Aspen and most of the state, and we ship nationwide to the lower 48.
