Seat height is where most bar stools go wrong. Somebody builds to a standard, the counter turns out to be an inch and a half off, and now four people are perched at a strange angle for the next decade. We build these to 29 inches because that fits most bars, and then we change it for free when it does not. The stools themselves are built from retired downhill skis, same as everything else we make.
