This chair has a resume. It went up at Snowmass in 1981 as part of the Naked Lady lift, ran there until 2008, then got trucked to Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota and served as the 10th Mountain lift until 2023, when the Raptor Express replaced it. Forty-two seasons of hauling people uphill in the cold, and now it gets to sit still.
Riblet triples are wide, which makes them the best of the retired lifts for actual seating. Three across, or two adults and a serious amount of room for a dog who assumes the middle spot is his.
