Description
Late light, a ridge going purple, and one bull elk who is not in any hurry. That is the whole scene, painted by hand in exterior oils on the back of a single Adirondack ski chair. It is the kind of image people keep looking back at from across the yard.
- Measures 45 inches tall by 36 inches deep and 32 inches wide, comfortable for people from 3 feet to 6 feet 10. Pets have been known to claim it first.
- Four to five pairs of retired skis go into this chair, cut, sanded and laid up over a sturdy Douglas Fir base built here in Colorado.
- Comes with a cup holder made from a repurposed ski binding, the only part of the chair that has ever been above 11,000 feet.
- High quality exterior oil paint, colorful and weatherproof.
- 400 lb weight capacity and a 3 year hassle free warranty.
- Most chairs ship free to the lower 48.
- Can be made into a rocker for $75 more, using repurposed oak wine barrel slats.
Hunters buy this one. So do people who have never held a rifle and just like elk. If you want the animal facing the other direction, a cow and calf added, or the sunset warmed up or cooled down, the artists paint each mural fresh, so nothing here is locked in.
