White aspen trunks with a moose standing in the middle of them, hand painted the length of one retired snowboard. About 60 by 18 by 17 inches, 300 lb capacity, equally happy as a boot bench or a coffee table. Aspens on a bench, and none of them need raking.

A moose and a bear share a sunset mountain mural that carries across both chairs, painted by hand in exterior oils. A matched set of two hybrid rockers, built from retired skis and snowboards on Douglas Fir bases. It is one of the pairs we build most often, which tells you something.

Beige and blue, layered ridgelines, nothing shouting. The Mystic Mountains mural runs across a matched pair of Adirondack ski chairs, built in Colorado from real retired skis on a Douglas Fir base. One of our best sellers, mostly because it goes with everything.

The Mystic Mountains mural carries across all four chairbacks in soft blues and grays, a palette that gets along with whatever deck stain you already have. Four Adirondack chairs, each built in Colorado from retired skis on a Douglas Fir base. Sixteen to twenty pairs of skis went into this set, which is a fair amount of downhill history for one patio.

The Red Chair was the first chairlift ever installed at Whistler Mountain, going in during 1965 and carrying skiers to the Roundhouse until 1992. These are the actual Mueller double chairs from that lift, roughly 101 inches tall by 26 inches deep and 47 inches wide. Only two left, finished in your choice of powder coat color.

Four Adirondack chairs cut from reclaimed oak whiskey barrels, which is the right number for a fire pit and two people who like sitting outside. Each one runs about 40 inches tall, 34 deep and 28 wide, with a wine stem glass holder in the arm. No stain involved, the color came from the whiskey.

A handcrafted replica chairlift bench for three, powder coated in the color you want, red, blue, black, green, copper or silver, with a wrap around bar and a wooden seat. Roughly 58 inches wide and 24 deep, hanging 72 to 90 inches tall depending on where you mount it. We will change the dimensions to fit your porch. Just ask.

With these Premium Party Ski Drink Bindings you will become the life of the party! Sure to bring an abundance of memories, these signature items are built with good times in mind. While fun, these skis are also durable, containing shatterproof glasses and easily removable bindings for cleaning. Customize them to your liking!
We can paint anything on them you want as well- additional fees may apply for custom artwork at $75/hour.

Four ski chairs at set pricing, built on redwood and Douglas fir and standing a full 50 inches tall, taller than our standard chair. Binding cup holders on the arms, retired skis across the back. Put your color or ski brand request in the order notes at checkout and we build to it.

Queen width, built from real retired skis lined up across the wall behind your bed. You choose the color arrangement and we can adjust the height or the number of skis so it fits the room you actually have.

A red three person chairlift replica bench hung from a wooden A-frame built out of 4×6 and 4×4 timbers. The bench measures roughly 18 deep, 57 wide and 51 tall, with the A-frame in the photo standing 79 inches. It is in the Ready to Ship group.

Jimi in full retro poster color, hand painted onto a chair built from repurposed water skis instead of the usual downhill pair. It is a full size Adirondack on a sturdy Douglas Fir base, made in Colorado and finished in weatherproof exterior oils. Pick any artist you want, we have been asked for stranger things and said yes.

Ship us the skis in your garage and we will build them into a bench. The pairs you learned on, the pairs from the trip nobody shuts up about, the pair a parent left behind. If you do not have skis to send, we have plenty and can match a color story instead.

Those skis hanging in the garage rafters gave you a couple of decades, and they deserve better than a landfill. We take four to five pairs of your own retired skis and rebuild them into a classic Adirondack chair on a Douglas Fir base, ski binding cup holder included. Drop them off in Manitou Springs or ship them to us, and we handle everything after that.
We have built a lot of unusual things over nearly twenty years. A ski throne. A gondola cabin used as a DJ booth. A chair made from a set of clubs somebody had carried for thirty years. But a handful of designs get ordered again and again, and after a while you stop arguing with the data. This is that handful.
Nothing here is on this page because we like it. These are the designs that get bought most often, which usually means they solved a problem well: the right size, the right price, or the right thing to give somebody who is difficult to buy for. If you are new to Colorado Ski Chairs and do not know where to start, start here.

Sets of two and four outsell singles. The mural gets painted across the whole set as one design, not repeated.

The single most recognizable thing we build, and the one people photograph before they sit on it.

Under two hundred dollars, ships fast, and nobody already owns one.
The Alpine is the shape everything else grew out of. The Tall Alpine Compact Chair suits smaller decks, the Tall Alpine Hybrid with a sunset bear mural is the one people photograph, and matched sets like the Set of 2 and the Set of 4 Customizable Premium Ski Chairs account for a large share of what leaves the shop. Buying a set is also the cheaper way in per chair.
The Black Powder Coated 3-person Replica Chairlift Bench is the statement piece. It is a handcrafted replica rather than a lift pulled off a mountain, welded here and powder coated to your color. If you specifically want a genuine retired lift from a named resort, those live in Ski Lifts and there are usually only one or two of each.
The Double Snowboard Colorado Moose Mural Bench and the Customizable Single Snowboard Coffee Table both sell steadily, largely because they do two jobs. The coffee table takes weight, so most people use it as a boot bench through the winter.
The Branded Alpine Ski Chair is here because businesses order them in numbers. The chair is painted in your brand color and the logo goes on as a decal, which holds the exact shape of your mark far better than a brush can. Aluminum and plastic appliques are also available, on the front or the back. They turn up in lobbies, breweries, resorts and trade show booths. Each option prices differently, so call 303.775.7273 and tell us what you need.
The 2-Boot ShotzSkis and the Ski Pole Plunger sell in volumes that surprise us every year. Both are under two hundred dollars, both ship quickly, and neither is something the recipient already owns.
No. It ranges from a sixty five dollar ski pole plunger to a three thousand dollar chairlift bench. It reflects what gets ordered most, not what carries the biggest margin.
Not necessarily. Nearly everything is made to order over two to four weeks. If you need something quickly, check Ready to Ship, which is everything already built and waiting.
Yes. Almost all of these are customizable: ski colors and brands, stain color, rocker or standing base, and hand painted murals. Popular does not mean fixed.
For most people a single Alpine chair or a matched pair. For a business, a branded chair. For a gift under two hundred dollars, the ShotzSkis. If you are furnishing a whole space, call us rather than adding things one at a time.
