A side table made from a retired whiskey barrel, 18 by 19 by 18 inches. The char and the darker stain from years of aging are still in the wood, which is why this one reads warmer than its wine barrel cousin. Hand painted and outdoor safe.
Five pieces built from reclaimed oak barrels once used by actual vintners, two Adirondack chairs, two matching ottomans and a side table. Each one takes its own look from the toasting of the barrel and the aging of the wine, then gets four coats of marine varnish. Every edge is rounded off and there is a wine stem glass holder built into the armrest.
